IB & AP Support

Our IB & AP program provides subject-specific support aligned to IB and AP coursework, from everyday coursework to exam readiness, in English, math, and science — the three subjects where students most often hit a wall.

In English, the difficulty usually isn't the reading — it's the writing. IB and AP English ask students to build a tight literary argument, back it with precise textual evidence, and do it under a strict time limit, which is a different skill from writing a reflective essay at home with no clock running. IB adds an oral commentary component on top of that.
In math, IB and AP courses move faster and go deeper than a standard class, and exams are cumulative — a student can master each unit individually and still struggle when a single problem draws on three of them at once. In science, the challenge is application: IB and AP exams (and IB's lab-based Internal Assessments) test whether a student can apply a concept to a new scenario, not just recall it, which is a harder skill to build through memorization alone.

We work within the student's actual course and exam format — practicing timed essay writing for English, cumulative problem sets for math, and application-style questions and lab write-ups for science — so students build the specific skill the exam is testing, not just general subject knowledge.
